A similar complaint comes from Don Crawford, who came from the
Alliance side of the party to contest Dufferin-Caledon against former
Progressive Conservative MPP David Tilson. Crawford complained about
the late submission of 400 memberships by his chief rival and was
told they would be inadmissable. However, Tilson made a presentation
to the interim council, claiming the memberships should be allowed.
The council concurred and the names were added to the official list.

waited a year and ran as a Reform BC MLA, instead of running as an
independent federally in this election to get his revenge,
Crawford will be running as an Independent Reformer endorsed by the
Reform Association of Ontario in the upcoming fall by-election in
Dufferin-Peel-Wellington-Grey, called to replace out-going failed
Ontario Premier and Tory Leader Ernie Eves. Ironically, the fiscal
and social liberal Eves could be replaced by his exact clone in the
Ontario PC Party in John Tory. With the top three provincial parties
running the same-old status-quo choices, Don Crawford may very well
be that lone chance at change, especially running under the
Independent Reform party banner. His very impressive bio can be
