I haven't gotten a connection to there for a few weeks now, it always goes offline when the dialogues start to go somewhere and progress is made.
Please remember tho' that the internet was made by the military, so they do kinda own it's core and would obviously have built in stuff to keep tabs on all the traffic. The www is an offshoot of the internet. I doubt anyone is in control of it now, I just mean that feasibly, that is where it first came from. It's built to withstand just about anything that can happen except the destruction of the entire planet as in, smithereens. Then, it still might might work - asteroids with flickering hubs and routers still on them......
