What if there was no-one around to think anything - as standard evolution says is the case for most of the past of this Earth. Time still passed, or, there would not have been all that evolution of all those different species over those periods of time passing.
Don't you believe in dinosaurs, for example? So would you not agree that - whatever really did kill a lot of them anyway - they existed a long time ago, and there has been long time passing since their heyday and a lot of chages to planet Earth during that.
What about when you were 10 years old for example, and now you are whatever age you may be - 35, 40, I don't know, whatever age you are ( I'm 28 in case you're wondering ) - that there is time that has elapsed since you were in school and a child to today where you are of adult age.
