Here's what a sane person would think first, if considering seriously making a teleporter -
hmmm, that's right, I don't actually know everything about biology and structures at the atomic and subatomic scales and how the whole universe works that way, so I think we might need a bit more knowledge about other things first so we know that we aren't going to be damaging anything that currently we don't know anything about.
Best bet on distance annihalation is, as it always has been, the old 'stargate' option. Unfortunatley for you, that option means you have to accept normal obviously existing things such as celestial bodies and their regular orbits.
