Nice salute to a retiring broadcaster from the Competition

Heard this on 91.7 Giant FM saluting Tim Denis from 610 CKTB.

Classy move on Giant's part but now I can't decide if this speaks more to Tim Denis or to whomever is running Giant FM.

Tim is a class act and deserves every shred of recognition.

I think the answer can be "both".

I wrote this story. Heard he was retiring, and wanted to do something nice. Ran it by the PD/ND/powers that be, and everyone was fine with it.

Met Tim during my stint in St. Catharines working on the street team in college. He was always very kind to me and went out of his way to ask how I was doing, and didn't have to. Figured I'd return the favour with a nice retirement piece.

You're a good egg, Matty Latour - may you have a long and fruitful career!
