but i find that in the ultimate whole of things, life - according to it's own definition - all life comes to an end, at some point.
i personally believe in some sort of further purpose and possibly even a further awareness that is completely incomprehensible to us. it is kind of like the fish trying to define the world outside of the water. it just is not accurate no matter how much it is pondered.
now, to me, if all life ends at some point, then the purpose of life is simply to live and experience a subjective point of view.
so if our whole existence is based on 1. running from the inevitable, (death) 2. trying to escape the discomforts of an environmental cohesive existence, and 3. an intellect that allows us todestroy our own species, other species, and the world we live in......then it really does not seem obvious to me that we are the ones with the superior intellect at all.
