No sundials don't 'measure' anything of the kind.
When you walk before you can navigate you end up banging into things.
You think that star time does nothing to validate the differnce between a measured interval and a subjective interval? That explains quite a lot.
PS, I'll give you a clue. A sundial measures the suspected rotation speed of the earth NOT the movement of the nearest star. Refer to my original question.
To rephrase, how do you prove that subjective time is not a reflection of the Earth's variable speed?
