When this all works as it should you can be any damn shape you want to,
I don't see how any type of plastic surgery or body modification has to do with this self-worth / self-importance etc discussion.
The only people that tend to want to change their appearence in those ways it is because they either don't look the way they feel, or, they have been bullied and made to think and feel that they are inadequate.
I've been thru tumultuous changes thru my life - my earliest memories of finding that I was in a human body for example sickened me for many years. I absolutley wished I was dead most of the time, it was awful. Then, you put up with being ridiculed for your looks (including mostly by your own family, while you are still in primary school, who then later claim that everything was always normal back then and nothing was wrong...) - which you didn't choose (because you wanted to look different), so you switch off and don't care about what happens to you - that then leaves you wide open to being used by all kinds of horrific entities, and unless you realise that you are important, you never get them to leave your body or your mind. That was just school ages.
Just because I like how I turned out (no surgery or anything, don't worry) for many years now, and I'm happy with how I look etc, doesn't excuse what happened to me. Why the f*ck did I have to adjust to anything that has done me no use?
